As a provider of ideas and innovative business solutions, we personally and cordially invited our existing and potential clients to our «Bootcamp» webinar series in the spring. During six weeks, we gave all interested parties an insight into our core competencies in free 45-minute webinars – namely into accessibility, Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI), conversational AI, identity and access management as well as other areas.
The broad variety of topics attracted approx. 50 participants, whom we were very pleased to welcome remotely. At the end of each webinar they asked intriguing questions, which our hosts answered live.
Those who missed one or the other live webinar can now watch it on on our website, where all recordings are available.
Did you know that the World Health Organization (WHO) has identified over 1 billion disabled people in the world? This corresponds to approx. 15% of the world’s population. Over 466 million of these people have a hearing disability. In addition, the WHO estimates that over 1.1 billion individuals ages 12–35 are at risk of disabling hearing loss due to exposure to noisy environments. This would lead to an increase to 2.5 billion people by 2050 – i.e. 1 out of 10! The WHO statistics also show that over 2.2 billion people have a near or distance vision impairment. The number of people worldwide with moderate to severe vision impairment is about 217 million. Also this number is likely to increase exponentially.
The Global Accessibility Awareness Day on May 19 prompted us to start the 6-week webinar series with the topic of accessibility. Participants gained insight into why accessible websites and apps benefit everyone and how much effort it requires to make a website or app accessible to everyone.

Digital transformation leads to increasing interactions and ever more intensive data exchange both between organizations and directly with the customer. At the same time, regulatory requirements and customer needs are increasing in terms of data protection. Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) manages this balancing act: it enables an ecosystem of credentials and identities that is also privacy-compliant – thanks to decentralized data storage, data minimization and advanced cryptography.
This webinar provided examples to explain what SSI is and how it works. It also showed what SSI means for an organization and how it can take advantage of the promising technology.

Today, customers expect information 24/7 – and as quickly as possible. Having to wait and lack of service outside business hours are two of the main reasons why customers are dissatisfied with call centers. The solution to this problem is Conversational AI. It improves customer satisfaction, while still allowing personal interaction.
This exciting live session used the Conversational AI portfolio to showcase the interaction possibilities of the future: from static text to chat to voice. In addition, it provided live demos and first-hand insights into the IFZ’s Conversational Insurance-Studie.

The most common password even today is 123456, making the classic username/password authentication combo an easy target for attackers. The financial damage of an «account takeover» can easily amount to 7.5% of the annual turnover. Therefore, it is high time to implement processes that do not require a password and are even more user-friendly.
In webinar no. 4, our partner Nevis raised awareness among participants about the problem of account takeover – with a high learning effect thanks to answers to questions such as: How can you detect costly cyberattacks? How do they work? What countermeasures are available and why do they not only increase security but also improve the customer experience?

Digitalization is prompting financial institutions to review their systems, address data analytics, and make the customer experience more engaging. Yet there is still a long way to go, even after 20 years, if ROI and satisfaction with projects are used as benchmarks.
The webinar provided an insight into how much financial institutions are already investing in digital transformation and explained why the economic results are nevertheless below expectations.

Specialist departments in companies love Excel: it is very flexible, allows complex calculations in no time and users are familiar with the interface. IT and compliance departments, in turn, hate Excel. It operates outside of the company-wide established governance, for which traceability and process control are extremely important.
The webinar illustrates step by step the Excel cycle, during which a simple xls file evolves into a company-relevant application-like file. It shows the challenges related to Excel and presents solutions to the dilemma, among them Adnovum’s «AdExcel». The software allows avoiding many of the disadvantages of a purely Excel-based solution without having to sacrifice its advantages.
